Zoomin.com has launches Photo Prints mobile app for Android and Windows platforms

Zoomin.com, an online service which lets users to store, share, and print their digital photos has launched Photo Prints, a mobile app for Android and Windows platforms. This app will let users print photos directly from their phone and have them delivered anywhere in India. An iOS version of Photo Prints is expected soon.

Sunny Balijepalli, Founder and CEO, Zoomin.com, said, “The ubiquity of camera-enabled mobile phones has made everyone a photographer. Our phones constantly buzz with notifications from photos being shared on Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. There are thousands of apps to share, beautify and upload photos, and surprisingly almost none that offer a way to print physical copies. The charm of printed photos is unmatched by anything digital – reminiscing over photos from a recent holiday with friends or a family get-together can never be replaced with Facebook posts and likes. Photo Prints aims to capitalize on this emotional connect by offering its users the simplest way to order a set of photo prints.”

Users can order photo prints in four steps- select photos, choose a size, enter a delivery address and pay using via cash on delivery, credit card, debit card or net banking.

Photo Prints can be downloaded free of cost.

Ajay Menon, COO, elaborates on ZoomIn’s rationale for developing the Photo Prints app, “Smartphones have changed the way we take and share photos. The Photo Prints app, is aligned with Zoomin’s vision of connecting people and their memories through photos. We have seen a tremendous response in just the first few days of launch. We will continue to leverage the potential of camera enabled smartphones in our future consumer offerings.”
