The founder of Poundland is planning to launch the first single-price etailer in the UK by the end of 2014.
Customers shopping on Poundshop.com will have to spend around £23, minimum, to complete their order. According to The Daily Mail, the original minimum was £42, but the figure was reduced after results from market research were taken into consideration.
Mr Smith told Retail Week: “People are used to delivery costs. My challenge is to make sure it works out cheaply for the customer.”
