It's turning out to be a landmark year for Mumbai concept store, Le Mill.
After winning Farfetch.com's Superstore Award -- an acknowledgement that won them a place on the online fashion platform's e-boutique line-up -- the store has finally launched its own e-version.
Though the payment gateway will only be functional from November 11 onwards, the site's fashion and lifestyle offerings are already available for perusal.
Fans of Le Mill's signature assortment of young, trendy brands can shop Mawi jewellery, Alexander Wang tote bags, Peter Pilotto printed ensembles and Isabel Marant jeans (now on sale too). There's also a small section of homegrown designers: accessories labels Nappa Dori and JOLI, Proudly Made In India; eyewear brand Zaveri Prive and shawl makers Kashmir Loom.
The e-boutique also makes a pitch for Le Mill's furniture and home décor sections, allowing customers to order Baobab candles, Gervasoni chairs and Abraham & Thakore bed linen, among other things.
"Almost all in-store products are available to browse on line," says Cecilia Morelli-Parikh, co-founder of Le Mill. "For now, our product launches will still happen in the store first, but we will work on creating special products for the e-commerce site eventually."
The store delivers all over India except to West Bengal and Kerala, with a flat shipping fee of Rs 1,000, except for furniture.
