My-Retail Media was invited to the Creativations-Chelsea, a revolutionary concept boutique and gallery, for the Fashion & Art Pop Up launch of the brand 'MariaSteffani' on September 11th and it was a blast. Amid the fashion week in London, the new chic and sophisticated brand has just launched at 301 Fulham Road, Chelsea.
Welcomed by designer Maria Steffani and artist Ella Valentine, My-Retail Media got to see the exclusive haute collection, one-off pieces, along with the brand's classic designs, at a shop that not only exudes sophistication and confidence from the inside out, but represents what fashion is about - a form of artistic expression.
After graduating from Marangoni Institute in Milan in 2009, the emerging designer, Maria Stefanova, came to London to launch her fashion label that fuses art with elegant, feminine and modern designs.
The dreams were brought to reality, the shop was dressed in luxurious bags, accessories, shoes, jewellery and clothes, celebrating and complimenting the dresses that give character with a pinch of a mysterious vibe to the girls - India Hammend, Alice Vanzo, Viktoria Belany, and Agnieszka Waliszewska, who modelled the collection. From red laced and navy sequined silk dresses to breath-taking Layana and Divina maxi dresses and skirts, the womenswear collection by MariaSteffani held the story of the paintings on the walls - the lyrical and colour field modern paintings by Ella Valentinova, AKA Gabrielle Valentine, addressing the exquiste, sophisticated, romantic and sumptuous atmosphere throughout the store.
Ella graduated in 2011 from Westminster University of London, she studied film production and ever since then has directed two short films and also published a book.
Hair and makeup were handelled by Toni&Guy, exclusive food and drinks were provided by Dash Concept, entertainment by DJ Sergio Tzianos and each guest was handed a gift bag from Label.com.
The one week pop up shop is open from 12th to 17th September 2013. The brand's site, MariaSteffani.com, currently has dresses and tops on sale and is offering a 30 per cent off from its summer/spring collection.
