The department store will create up to 250 jobs as part of plans to open a new £40 million store.
Marks & Spencer has revealed its proposals for a branch at Wolstanton Retail Park. The 140,000 sq ft store would sell clothing, homeware, gifts and food.
A further 100 construction jobs will be created to build the store, which is slated to be open by 2014.
M&S property director Clem Constantine said: "This is an exciting proposal and represents a significant investment in the region.
"We estimate it will create around 250 new jobs as well as an additional 100 jobs in the construction phase."
Shoppers will consulted on the Wolstanton plans later this month.
