Mothercare has revealed plans to reduce the number of stores it operates in the UK over the next three years.
Last year, the mother and baby retailer said it planned to shave 107 stores off the chain by March 2013.
The retailer now says it plans to reduce its store base to 200 by March 2015.
Recently, the retailer reported a 6.2 per cent drop in like-for-like sales in the UK in the year to the end of March. UK like-for-like sales were down 8.2 per cent in the fourth quarter.
The retailer said it closed 62 stores across the UK over the past year and plans to close another 111 stores by March 2015.
