Lingerie brands flock to UK
The lingerie market is to benefit from a boost in business this summer as famous brands from the sector expand into the UK.
Victoria’s Secret is to open its first two UK-based stores while Agent Provocateur is searching for new London premises as part of a 50-store expansion plan.
Victoria’s Secret will open a store on New Bond Street on 15 July followed by another in Stratford City the next day.
Agent Provocateur has hired Harper Dennis Hobbs to search for 50 new stores for the chain across the UK and Europe over the next five years. The lingerie chain is currently reviewing its six London outlets and may relocate some of them as well as opening new sites.
