Waitrose expand their assortment with a new range of gardening products.
The food chain has decided to take advantage of their customers’ interest in horticulture and announced it will launch a new range of gardening products and plants. According to The Telegraph, the products will be available in stores from next week.
The new gardening range will go under the name of Waitrose Flower Garden and will offer all the essential gardening necessities, from seeds and plants to gardening products and accessories.
A new website, Waitrosegarden.com, will also be launched alongside the gardening products. The site will offer more than 5,000 products from online garden supplier Crocus. Alan Titchmarsh, who was newly appointed to advise the food supplier in the developing of Waitrose Flower Garden, will contribute to the web-page with tips and advice on gardening and horticulture.
