Hennes & Mauritz, which has plans to open its first Hawaii H&M store in Waikiki, has announced plans to launch an online-shopping website in the United States this summer.

The Wall Street Journal reports Sweden-based fashion retailer H&M has delayed launching a U.S. shopping site twice before, most recently in September, citing problems with security issues, information technology, logistics and payment solutions.

The newspaper notes that H&M, which has 269 stores in the U.S., plans to feature singer Beyonce in its summer advertising campaign and has plans to also open stores in other large tourism areas — New Orleans' French Quarter and in New York City's Times Square.
