Fashion Search Platform in Germany Launched by Kleding.nl

Dutch company Kleding B.V. is only one year old and it has already launched their first foreign spin-off. Fashiola.de offers German users a simplified interface with a broad selection of clothes and filtering options. Kleding B.V. wants to make Fashiola.de the most important searching platform for fashion online shoppin in Germany within the next two years.

“In Germany there are hundreds, if not thousands of online clothing stores, which makes it rather difficult for consumers to find the products of desire. On Fashiola.de we offer them a complete overview of brands, prices and available clothing”, so says ceo and founder Peter Langenkamp. “We use some of the techniques of our Dutch search engine, but we recruited staff locally to respons properly to the trends and developments in the German market.”

Fashiola as a name is something we will see appear more, because Kleding B.V. is planning to open more fashion search platforms in Europe. At the moment they are preparing to launch Fashiola.co.uk, but Fashiola.be (Belgium) and Fashiola.com are also in the making. In the Netherlands, Kleding.nl, that was launched in April 2012, saw a turnover of 7.5 million Euros for its associated web shops last year.
