Home Bargains are Now Recruiting For Its New Loughborough Store

HOME Bargains is now recruiting for its new store set to open in Loughborough. New signs have now been put up outside of the site in Belton Road West Extension, that was previously occupied by office supply specialist Staples.The new signs state that the store is to open on Saturday, October 21st.
 
The Echo reported back in September 2015 that an application had been submitted to Charnwood Borough Council seeking permission for an extended range of goods to be sold on the premises.Home Bargains already has one store in Loughborough - located in Devonshire Square - but the chain says it has no plans to close it and will instead have two shops in the town.
 
Staples closed the doors to its Loughborough store earlier this year following the brand’s sale to a restructuring company.The US owner of Staples sold the UK arm of the stationery specialist to Hilco for a “nominal” sum.Hilco then announced in November that it was planning to phase out Staples-branded shops over the coming months.
 
In April, Home Bargains contractors moved onto the Belton Road West Extension site, cordoning off the car park and ripping up the asphalt.The signs also state that they are recruiting for the new Loughborough store and to apply for a job visit Home Bargains careers website.
