Kipling Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Special Tote Bag Collection

Belgian bag and accessories brand Kipling is marking its 30th anniversary this year with a special collection of tote bags created in partnership with international designers.
 
The tote bag range is being released throughout the year, with different designs every season.
 
Brazilian textile artist Ana Morelli’s design is inspired by the Brazilian rainforest and features a jungle pattern with Kipling’s monkey mascot in orange and yellow.
 
German/Japanese artist and illustrator Niky Roehreke’s creation features Kipling’s monkey character in four different poses among flowers and plants on a white background.
 
Hannah Alice, a British illustrator and designer, has created a white bag which depicts a yellowy orange gorilla.
 
Hong Kong-based designer Za Chan’s bag features a red monkey and blue Chinese symbols.
 
Kipling is inviting customers to create and send homemade birthday cards to celebrate its 30th birthday and to use the hash tag #30yearskipling on social media.
 
Kipling Global Marketing Director Gwenda van Vliet said: “We’re encouraging people to make their own cards and send them to us. It’s time to get creative, because the best birthday cards will win a very special prize. To mark the 30 years, we are launching a unique collection of tote bags.
 
“These are the creations of some of the world’s most influencing female artists. We’re sure our fans will be really excited by these designs, which feature our famous monkey logo. The creators of the best birthday cards sent to us will be getting a free 30 years tote bag, as a present.”
