Hiring platform ZenRadius raises seed funding from TracxnLabs and Deepak Singh
Startup hiring platform ZenRadius has received seed funding from TraxcnLabs and Deepak Singh, founder and director of Anzy Careers.
The Bengaluru-based company was launched just this month and currently has three clients. The founding team, consisting of three IIT-Kharagpur alumni, were running a big data services startup Smokelift Technologies when another entrepreneurial idea struck.
"We were often asked by both our personal and professional contacts if we could recommend potential candidates for job opportunities in their companies. This got us thinking," said cofounder Nitesh Mishra, 28.
Hence he and cofounders Arpit Kumar and Alok Yadav set out to build a streamlined referral platform that is more automated, transparent, and efficient. Clients can screen their own networks for potential matches, send personalized emails, review CVs, and cross-check multiple sources on one unified system. It targets new startups and small firms, although the platform can be used by larger corporates and consulting companies as well.
The first phase of the platform was released a month ago and the team is currently receiving customer feedback before more features are added on in the coming weeks, cofounder Mishra told TheTradeBoss. ZenRadius is currently available to use free of cost before being transitioned to a freemium model.
"Over the years, we have seen that people we hired through common friends had much higher degree of success... but the process of finding people through the network was very tiring. We thought technology could simplify this process significantly," commented Abhishek Goyal, cofounder of Tracxn Labs, an incubator started by startup tracking company Tracxn and that is backed by the Flipkart cofounders.
This is the fourth investment that TraxcnLabs has announced since it launched last month.
