Pretty Green – the menswear brand launched by Oasis’ Liam Gallagher in 2009 – will open a new 1,600 square foot branch in Spitafields on Tuesday 9th December, and a 1,400 square foot space in Westfield on Thursday. This will make 17 UK stores, as well as five in Japan, online and more than 100 wholesale doors. The new branches will sell the entire apparel range, including the Black Label tailoring line and the Green Label casual collection. Six House of Fraser concessions will open early next year, in locations such as Middlesbrough, Exeter and Belfast,
In October the label hired Pierre Darnton – who was previously UK and Ireland Managing Director of G-Star – as the new head of international business and wholesale, as part of a strategy to expand and evolve the brand. He is to continue the promising global expansion. Chief executive Richard Ralph said:
“We are extremely excited to be opening two new Pretty Green stores in London, taking our total store portfolio to 17 for 2014. We will continue to search for appropriate opportunities as we look to drive further expansion, both in the UK and internationally.”
The brand headquarters in London has moved to a larger office in Kings Cross.
