Quikr ties up with Microsoft to launch its classified app on Windows platform
Online classifieds company Quikr today joined hands with Microsoft to launch the Quikr app on the Windows Phone Store. Quikr and Microsoft have joined hands to make the design appealing to users of the Windows platform thereby bringing the power of the Quikr classifieds marketplace to Windows Phone users.
The app comes equipped with open source software stack that has been used to build the backend while the front-end of the app has been built using native SDKs. This technology makes the performance of the app, fast and user friendly. This app is aimed at reaching out to a wider audience of smart phone users offering them the convenience of trading online.
The salient features of the Quikr app for Windows are automatic detection of users location, posting category based adverts, search browser simplified, connecting buyers and sellers using chats and social media.
