High-end shoe brand Jimmy Choo is en route to join the London stock market, with a value of $1.1 billion. Choo are planning to use the money that will be made from the listing to expand globally, with a particular focus on Asia.
The float started today, in the price range of 140-180 pence per share, resulting in a total equity company value of £546-702 million. The eventual goal is to list 25 per cent of the brand, making the deal size £136-175 million.
Choo has 120 stores, with plans to open 10-15 more per year until 2016. They have recently opened a flagship branch in London.
