Warehouse has taken pointers from the Brooklyn loft-styles of some of New York’s most fashionable retailers to form the concept for its new £1 million flagship store on London’s Oxford Street.
According to the Times, the store has been designed by Brown Studio, taking cues from a typical urban loft space, with exposed brick work, poured concrete, an illuminated staircase, and a lot of emphasis on light, open retailing.
Running across 2,500 sq ft in the former Monsoon store, the new flagship is expected to open up the Warehouse brand to a wider, international audience, setting it apart from the fast fashion competition dominated by H&M and Zara.
The new store launches over the weekend of the 7-8 of March.
