Karl Lagerfeld is planning to launch his first flagship store in UK on one of the major shopping streets in West End of London, 145-147 Regent Street.
Expected to open its doors on March 14, the brand new store will be the luxury fashion designer’s largest in Europe and will showcase his special London-inspired capsule collection.
Taking inspiration from the UK and its Union Jack flag, the new collection features ready-to-wear apparel like slouchy printed t-shirts and distressed skinny jeans, has a rock-chic aesthetic vibe to it which celebrates London’s spirit. Drawn from Lagerfeld’s personal style, the collection has been accessorised in wide-brimmed fedora, shopper bag, slip-on shoes, scarves and finger gloves.
Along with the capsule collection, the brand has designed limited-edition men’s and women’s apparel which has been influenced by the traditional English military uniform - also exclusively available at Karl Lagerfeld’s Paris and Munich fashion stores.
To mark of Lagerfeld’s arrival in London, the brand has additionally designed a limited edition of 1,500 Tokidoki dolls named Mr UK.
