Michael Kors has opens new concept flagship store in China

Michael Kors has opened its new concept store for its first flagship in China’s largest city, Shanghai. Located in the An Kerry Centre, the 6,000 square feet store will become the American retailer’s largest store in China.

With the cutting-edge interior aimed to reflect the signature ‘jet set glamour’ of the brand, the store will hold a 30-foot high mirrored wall with MK jacquard pattern embedded, a giant video screen, and polished stainless steel fixtures to bring out the luxurious atmosphere.

Its exterior will be decorated by Michael Kors’ in-house design team, and will incorporate various new design elements in the two-story exterior façade, alongside Kors’ signature use of metallic and texture, luminous screens and light-reflective facets.
