Karl Lagerfeld will soon open his maiden UK-based flagship store in a move which adds an essential market to his ever-increasing fashion empire.
The store will span 250 square metres and is decked out in Largerfeld’s favoured monochrome colour scheme. iPad minis will be offered to allow customers the opportunity to explore the entire collection online, as well as a facility to take photographs of their favourite pieces which can then be forwarded to friends via email and social networking sites.
Fitting rooms will also be equipped with photo booths.
Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, told Retail Focus: “I am thrilled to announce the opening of our flagship store at this landmark location to showcase the world of Karl Lagerfeld. Opening on Regent Street provides us with an exceptional opportunity to position our brand in this important market. London is one of the world’s leading cities when it comes to retail and this location offers a unique brand mix. Our London presence will be a fantastic representation of our brand’s aesthetic, and it showcases our cool, accessible-luxe collections in a cutting-edge environment.”
