On Mar. 15, Jabong.com, a leading Indian fashion destination, redefined the term “Street Style” with a concept show called “Jabong Street Style” at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014. LFW is held to bring together the fashion community on one big platform.
The theme of the show, Casual Chic, was the fashion inspiration for fashion influencers — fashion editors, bloggers and stylists from the industry — who styled their celebrity muses, such as actresses, dancers, models and singers, in Jabong products. The designer and muse collaboration at this event got some unique and fresh fashion styles for everyone to witness.
Fashion influencers such as Antara Motiwala, GQ’s fashion editor; Nishka Lulla, designer; and Cyrus Dalal, photographer, styled their muses, which included singer and model Anusha Dandekar, actress Shweta Salve and actress Pallavi Sharda, in Jabong products.
Arun Chandra Mohan, founder and CEO of Jabong.com, said, “We have always introduced innovative concepts and features for our fashion-conscious Indian consumer. We will continue to explore such unique concepts to entice the fashion fanatics.”
Jabong.com is a leading fashion multi-brand-store and caters to the fashion aspirations of modern India, said a spokesperson. Lakme Fashion Week is jointly organized by Lakme, a leading cosmetics and beauty services brand in India; and IMG Reliance, the global leader in sports and entertainment event marketing and management. LFW has been conceived and created with a vision to “redefine the future of fashion and integrate India into the global fashion world.” It is organized twice every year. Summer/Resort 2014 was held Mar. 12-16 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai.
