2 states truly belong to Alia Bhatt, she rocked the image of IIM college student. Manish Malhotra has styled her perfectly in colorful kurtis and Lovely Kanjivaram Saris. Be it her girl next door image in the start of the movie to elegant sarees, she looked fantastic throughout the movie.
It’s still tough to find whether IIM girls get the time to dress nicely in fashionable outfits. Getting out time from presentations and reports is quite tough but it doesn’t seem so with Alia Bhatt. She dressed in trendy kurtis and quirky skirts and salwars and adding a lot of oomph to her character.
The first kurti that she wore over a flowing skirt in the first college scene is quite stunning. The white floral kurti with embroidery patch work at yoke looks aesthetic. She paired up with silver danglers and nude makeup to give the refreshing look.
The chikankari work is always a hit among kurti & tunic lovers. The blue kurti with chikankari embroidery engrossed over it looks absolutely stunning. Paired up with light pink dupatta and pink pout, Alia looked fresh and coy.
The yellow shade with a hint of coral in it, this kurti will look good on fairer girls. The kurti has a pink embroidery patch on the collar and yoke but seems enthralling and poised. Alia added pink jhumkis to add glamour to her simplistic attire.
This kurti of hers is simple and stylish. Alia wore this one in meeting scene at Sunsilk. The plain black kurti paired with pink Chinese collar and dupatta gave a regal look. For those who don’t like wearing suits and shirts for office every day, there is always a great option to wear such plain kurtis.
Coming to the sarees, Alia Bhatt gracefully adorned silk sarees throughout the movie. The favorite one is the bridal lehenga that she wore at the end of movie, simply fabulous.
Starting with her blue kanjivaram that she worn in the scene at her house gave her a ideal homely girl persona. She added gajra to further divulge in Tamilian fashion though it was the saree who looked simplistic and eye-catchy.
When Duke was getting slashed by Alia Bhatt for their Dowry demand, it was almost impossible to take our eyes off from the black designer saree. The black saree with zari embroidery with pink border, brocade pink blouse with stone work at sleeves looked aesthetic.
The yellow kanjivaram saree in the chartbuster number “Iski Uski” gave a very royal image. She carried the look of South Indian damsel quite elegantly. The Yellow kanjivaram with red & blue border and blue blouse gave a youthful essence to the saree.
The adorable look of Alia Bhatt in this pretty pink saree touched every spectator. She looked stunning in the pink georgette saree with neon green border. Paired up with lavender blouse with thread embroidery she was an image of cute college Beauty queen.
No wonders she got 11 proposals on the first day at IIM. Alia looked smashing hot even in kurtis and sarees.
