Due to last night’s storm, the Day 2 shows at SA Fashion Week had to be postponed.
“Life comes first for the South African Fashion Week – due to the unforeseen storm of such proportion on Thursday evening, the shows scheduled for Thursday, 16 October were postponed for the safety of everyone with us at SA Fashion Week” says Lucilla Booyzen, Director of SA Fashion Week.
Because the event takes place in a marquee at the Crown Plaza, under the circumstances, it was deemed unsafe by engineers and industry experts.
The good news is that the show goes on with all shows scheduled for today and tomorrow remaining unchanged. And Thursday’s showcase has moved to Sunday, running at these times:
17h30 for 18h00 |Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs; Mantsho by Palesa Mokubung
18h30 for 19h00 | Clive by Clive Rundle
19h30 for 20h00 | Leigh Schubert
20h30 for 21h00 | Skip Love What You Wear Collection Featuring Colleen Eitzen & Rubicon
