You might have noticed that Karen Millen has undergone a facelift of late. It all started last year when the high street stalwart released a glamorous campaign, shot by David Bailey and styled by Katy England, suggesting that the brand was moving beyond it's reputation as solely being the go-to destination for Friday night attire.
And now with the opening of its fabulous new Brompton Road store, and another flagship opening in New York in June, Karen Millen has undoubtedly reasserted its place on the fashion map.
To celebrate the launch of the new shops, and its style evolution, Karen Millen has cast the beautiful Dylan Penn – daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright – in a new film, No More Tiaras.
Directed by Mary Nighy, the short film, which was previewed last night at an exclusive Karen Millen supper party, also stars names-to-watch Langley Fox Hemingway, Brit model Adwoa Aboah and writer Stephanie La Cava.
Watch the teaser here, and if you haven't already done so, get down to Brompton Road now. We've got a feeling Karen Millen is going to be your new high street saviour.
