Flipkart Deceiving Customer With Wrong Information

Flipkart — Deceiving customer with wrong information and did not process cashback till now

I am supposed to receive 15% cashback (Icici netbanking) by apr end but have not received any till now. Offer period feb 12th-14th 2016 and i purchased the mattress on 14th feb 2016. Order id od305229579737541000. 

 

When i contacted flipkart about this they simply replied saying 

— please note that the 15% cash back on icici net banking offer valid only on fashion and lifestyle categories so we will be unable provide the cash back as the above product not comes under fashion and lifestyle categories. As per our records, i see that the 15% cash back on icici net banking offer was displayed in every product page and we have mentioned in terms and conditions that the 15% cash back on icici net banking offer valid only on fashion and lifestyle categories — 

 

I do not understand 

How can they display an offer on a product page which is not applicable on that product.

 

Imo, it is clear case of deceiving your customers by displaying wrong

Offers on the product.

 

 

There is no way for a customer know if the offer is applicable or not. Because they displayed the offer on that product page too while ordering the product too.. Please see the snapshot. 

 

I would like to file a complaint of flipkart about displaying wrong offer on respective product page thus by deceiving customers.
